Birthday party!

We had Alexa's birthday party today. She got a Baby Alive doll that really pees and poops and lots of other great presents. Her cake this year was a Little Mermaid cake. Instead of going anywhere this year, she wanted to stay home and swim.

The doll is almost as big as she is!

Alexa Turns Five!

So this is Alexa's new princess outfit she got for her birthday, obviously first thing in the morning. Cute hair! We aren't having her party until Saturday but she got to open this present today. Thank you Great Great Great Grandma Hammond (the kids call her that because she is so great!) for the special card and money.

Austin

This is a post all about Austin and the silly things he says and does.

Here is the scenario, we are over at a friends house (Sunny) and she was making a honey and peanut butter sandwich.

Austin: Are you putting syrup on that sandwich?

Sunny: No it is honey.

Austin: Did you steal that from bees!! (angrily)

This is especially funny for those of you who have seen a Bee Movie.

Austin likes to hum the Star Wars theme music. Not just once or twice a day, throughout the entire day for the last few weeks! What is bad is when the rest of us star humming along with him.

Cody and I were watching the History Channel on how they made the iron maiden. During the program they made an iron maiden and were creating a test dummy. We assumed the kids were in their room. Silly us! After creating a dummy, they poured pig guts inside of it to make it as real as possible. Austin yells from over the couch, "Is that how they make humans!"

That's all for now!

Summer Time

It finally feels like summer. It was almost 90 degrees today, so the kids HAD to get in the pool. Unfortunately since last year the pool apparently has sprung a leak. Yesterday we filled it up and today it is only half full (or half empty). The kids didn't seem to care one bit.

And while they played, this is what I got to do...fold laundry! And I always said I wanted to grow up! Silly me.

This is one of my favorite pictures, my daughter and my dad. It was taken last year but I thought I would share it.

Since High School

Since High School I went to SLCC for a few semesters and worked full time. I married my love and best friend, Cody, September 3, 1998. Some of you may know him from the graduating class of 1995 (Granger). Apparently we went to the same elementary, and junior high schoold and didn't meet until he was a senior and I was a sophmore.

Six months later we found out we were pregnant with our first, Mason. Six months after he was born we found out we were pregnant again, Austin. Six months later, (are you seeing a trend here?), we found out we were pregnant with our third, Alexa. Having three in diapers is quite a trial. Shortly thereafter we decided and felt that our family was complete.

I was a stay at home mom for a few years and now work as a dispatcher for the Chubbuck Police Department. I dispatch police, fire and medical and answer 911 calls. Cody is a journeyman electrician, loves his profession and works for a great company. We have lived in Chubbuck Idaho for almost 4 years and have lived in Idaho for 6 years.

We are currently taking temple prep classes and are hoping to get sealed in the next few months. We are truely excited and have made many lifestyle changes to get to this point.

We there it is in a nutshell, of course there is more but that's all for now!

Allergies

Mason has had the worst allergies this year. His poor eyes are so red and itchy. The doctor said to give him claritin, which I have, and it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas?

Here we are, blogging. It seems like such a simple way to keep family in other states up to date on our family. So...here we go!
